Pharmacy Technician: This program will provide a technical and practical education which will enable the graduate to function as a competent entry-level pharmacy technician to a licensed pharmacist. Students will be expected to complete 70 hours of clinical externship prior to completion of the course. This program will be for 210 clock hours and 14 weeks.

Nurse Aide: This program prepares you for employment in a variety of entry-level medical fields. Students will be following the State of Michigan Nurse Aide Training curriculum model. All students will be trained to perform the specific skills needed to become a nurse aide. This program is for 90 clock hours and accelerated to just THREE weeks!

Patient Care Technician: This program prepares you for employment in the health care field to work in the role of Home Health Aid, phlebotomy, EKG and patient care. CPR is included with this program. This program is for 112 clock hours and seven weeks. **You must have completed and passed a Nurse Aide program prior to enrolling in this program and provide your active certificate at time of enrollment.**

Phlebotomy Technician: This program prepares the graduate to work as a Phlebotomist in any clinical setting. Students are taught safety, infection control, phlebotomy basics, specimen collections and handling, as well as professional and legal issues. After completion of the program the student may sit for the National Certification Examination for Phlebotomy. The examination is at the expense of the student. This program is 66 clock hours and completed in 6 weeks.

Medical Assistant I & II: Medical Assistant I program is designed to prepare for employment in the clerical aspect. The Medical Assistant II program is designed to prepare you for employment in the clerical and clinical aspects. You will be taught skills to enable you to work in a physician’s office, clinics and other ambulatory care facilities. Learning how to interact with patients, assisting physicians in patient preparation and medical coding/billing will be a few of the skills. The Medical Assistant I program is for 108 clock hours along with 48 hours of externship. The Medical Assistant II program is for 693 clock hours along with 96 hours of externship.Upon completion of the Medical Assistant I you may sit for the NHA’s Certified Medial Administrative Assistant (CMAA) test and upon completion of the Medical Assistant II you may sit for Certified Clinical Medical assistant (CCMA) test. The exams are at the expense of the students.

CPR training - open to the public: In as little as 4 hours, you will learn basic first aid procedures for adult, child and pediatric and the use of the AED.
